Applications

Sodium Acetate Trihydrate is very soluble in water.
Pharmaceuticals.
Used in the preparation of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis solutions, in production of insulin and in infusion liquids.
Used as buffers in petroleum production and drilling muds, in food preservations, and in electroplating.
Used as a retardant in elastomer industry.
Used in tanning to effect a more even and rapid penetration of the tan in the leather industry.
As a mordant in dyeing processes.
An intermediate to manufacture organic compounds like dyes, pigments, pharmaceuticals, cinnamic acid.
Used in soap industry and purification of glucose.
Used in the textile industry to neutralize sulfuric acid waste streams, and as a photo resist while using aniline dyes.
Used in consumer heating pads or hand warmers and is also used in hot ice. Used to reduce the damage water can potentially do to concrete by acting as a Concrete sealant, while also being environmentally benign and cheaper than the epoxy alternative that  is usually employed for sealing concrete against water permeation.
Used in chemical/pharmaceutical synthesis and dispensation as an middle and as a buffering go-between.
Used in bronzing industry as washing salts.
Used in plating as a reagent.
Used in lithography and dyeing of textiles as a mordant.
Used in taking pictures to deceleration of colour photographs.
Used in the food industry as a flavoring and seasoning agent.
Used as laboratory reagent, laboratory chemical.
